The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to endorse the 2010 International Women Riders Congress and Festival (IWCF), hosted by the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC). As host of the International Street Party at the 2009 AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference in Keystone, CO, the Women Riders’ Council of the MCC was a significant contributor to the overall success of the event. Women motorcyclists are a vibrant and surging segment of modern motorcycling, and all interested riders should attend this dynamic gathering at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario.

The Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) has been very successful in uniting motorcyclists across the country through its national initiatives. Whether on-road riders, off-road riders or competition riders, MCC has built a solid foundation in all disciplines both nationally and more and more internationally. As a female rider, I am excited to see the first International Women Riders Congress and Festival take place in Ontario, Canada in August. The camaraderie that is shared between women at these events is unbelievable. As a female motorcycle Instructor and member of the Board of Directors of a U.S. motorcycle rights organization, I cannot think of a better place to meet women of similar dreams, share experiences, and network in all things motorcycle related. This will be a great learning opportunity for all who attend ... not to mention, it is hard to beat Ontario in August!

I was very excited to learn about the MCC event being held in Ontario. I am sure it will be successful and inspiring for all participants. I attended the last two AMA women's conferences in the States and I am thrilled that MCC is launching an event of this magnitude in Canada. The program looks like it will be packed with workshops, seminars, demo rides and guided trips. I will watch for updates on your website. I am definitely making plans to attend and will be recommending this event to our 49 local women riders.

The Australian Motorcycle Council (AMC) congratulates the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) and its many partners on presenting the International Women Riders Congress and Festival (IWCF) in Ontario. The theme of "One World, One Ride" reinforces the idea that motorcyclists share a common bond regardless of their origin, their occupation, or what motorcycle they ride. Over the past decade, Australia, too, has seen a significant increase in the number of female motorcycle licence holders and motorcycle owners. We anticipate the Congress will produce exciting outcomes to assist in the promotion of motorcycling to this ever-increasing number of women riders.
